New asylum-seeker protest at Australia's Villawood detention centre

The first group of 11 asylum seekers agreed to call off their protest at Sydney's Villawood Detention Centre last night.

Another group of detainees are staging a rooftop protest at the Villawood Detention Centre in the Australian state of Sydney.
Detainees say one member of the group is a woman who is four months pregnant and who has not eaten for two days.
One of the men says they do not intend to come down.
"We've got 10 people here and we want our freedom. We've been here a long time .. and yesterday it's too bad here. We want out," he said.
The Department of Immigration, says there are nine people on the roof, but could not confirm whether a pregnant woman was among them.
She says the operators of the facility are continuing to try to talk the detainees down, stressing that they are not illegal boat arrivals. (From ABC News)
