Frank Lampard admits the UEFA Champions League has become the 'Holy Grail' for both himself and Chelsea as they bid to finally secure club football's biggest trophy.
The Blues came agonisingly close to ending their wait for the prize two and a half years ago when they were beaten on penalties by Manchester United in the final in Moscow.
England midfielder Lampard, whose equaliser that night sent the game to a shootout, has also suffered defeat in four semi-finals with the Blues over the past seven years.
And despite helping Chelsea to three Premier League titles, three FA Cups and two League Cups over the same period, the 32-year-old says the European title is still top of his wish-list.
