West Brom will not take action against defender Paul Scharner over his public outburst regarding the club's dressing-room discipline.
Scharner blasted the Baggies players for becoming "lazy" after the club's internal fines system was abolished.
Acting captain Chris Brunt has already expressed his "disappointment" regarding Scharner's remarks, which the stopper made to the press ahead of Saturday's Premier League home encounter with Blackpool.
But Baggies manager Roberto Di Matteo says the 30-year-old Austrian will not be disciplined by the club.
