Dzeko not setting targets

Manchester City's latest signing Edin Dzeko is not setting himself any targets while he is also full of admiration for manager Roberto Mancini.

City swooped for the Bosnia international, who attended their FA Cup game at Leicester, last week after paying Bundesliga side Wolfsburg £27million for his services.

Dzeko is regarded as one of Europe's star strikers having impressed in Germany's top flight in recent seasons as well as scoring goals for fun in the UEFA Champions League.

However, Dzeko is against stating he will hit the ground running at Eastlands, saying it will take time for him to adapt to English football although he is eager to help the club win silverware.

"I have to take it step by step. I know I will have to work hard, I will have to get used to football in England," he told Dnevni Avaz.

"Without doubt City are fighting for first place. Success at the club is very important. That's why I'm here and that's something I will work as hard as I can to help."
