Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini does not want Emmanuel Adebayor to repeat the celebration that landed him in hot water against Arsenal last season.
The striker earned a £25,000 fine and a suspended two-game ban after his reaction to netting in a 4-2 win over the Gunners at Eastlands in September 2009, while he also collected a three-match suspension for stamping on Robin van Persie's face.
Adebayor ran the length of the field to celebrate in front of angry Arsenal fans, who had been goading their former hero as a result of his controversial move to City last summer.
Arsenal visit City again on Sunday and the previously out-of-favour Adebayor is in contention to start after his hat-trick against Lech Poznan in midweek.
