Tevez fully committed to City

Carlos Tevez insists any lingering doubts regarding his commitment to Manchester City can be laid to rest.

The Argentine handed in a transfer request in December, claiming to have grown disillusioned with life at Eastlands and certain members of the club's board.

He was eventually talked round, following a worrying time for City followers, and has been back to his sparkling best over recent weeks

Tevez claims he is now fully focused on his duties with the Blues once more, with any issue he may have had with the club's hierarchy, including boss Robert Mancini, put to one side.

He said: "I am happy now. The issue is in the past.

"I had my discrepancies with the boss. But we spoke as two men and everything is solved and I'm very happy."
