Blackburn's owners insist they will stick with manager Steve Kean for at least the duration of his current two-and-a-half-year contract.
Kean was a surprise choice to succeed Sam Allardyce following his
sacking club's Indian owners Venky's last month.
The role is Kean's first managerial position after working as an assistant to Chris Coleman at Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry
Blackburn currently sit in 11th spot in the Premier League and Venky's have indicated their clear backing for Kean, insisting stability is vital for success at Ewood Park.
Anuradha Desai, head of the Venky's company, told the Mail on Sunday: "Steve Kean will be safe in his job for the duration of that contract. whatever happens.
"I guarantee that. Without stability you cannot have success, and this provides stability. It's the way we work."
