The Football Association have moved to reject any talks have taken place lining up David Beckham for an England management role alongside Harry Redknapp.
A report emerged on Wednesday evening indicating the FA had moved to unite Tottenham boss Redknapp and former England captain Beckham as a managerial 'Dream Team' when Fabio Capello steps down from the helm of the national side after Euro 2012.
However, an FA spokesman said: "There are no such talks and we have not discussed any potential succession plan with anyone at this point."
A spokesman for Beckham added: "We have never spoken to anyone at the FA with regards to an Olympic or England managerial role. There is no truth in the story."
