Petr Cech has called on Chelsea to keep up their winning streak if they want to stay in with a chance of retaining the Premier League title.
The Blues endured a worrying slump in form over the Christmas period, with poor results leaving them trailing the leading pack in the hunt to lift the trophy.
However, Carlo Ancelotti's side demolished Ipswich 7-0 in the FA Cup third round last weekend before securing a 2-0 win over Blackburn in the league on Saturday, a result which lifted them back into the top four.
And Cech has called for more of the same from the Londoners as they bid to steady their title defence.
"It was extremely important that against Blackburn we managed to follow the performance from the Ipswich game," Cech told his official website.
"From the beginning you could see confidence in our play and we converted it into two goals and thanks to a good defensive play with a thorough approach we managed to claim the three points.
