Kenny Dalglish makes his return to the Premier League as Liverpool face Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
Both sides exited the third round of the FA Cup at the weekend and this rescheduled fixture could prove to be a feisty affair following Pool's famous 2-1 victory at Anfield back in October.
Dalglish is keen to avoid a repeat as he takes charge of his first Premier League game in over 12 years following his return on Saturday.
The Scot enjoyed a trophy-laden spell as a player and manager with the club back in the 1970s and 80s.
However, the 59-year-old takes charge of a club that have lost their top-four spot and have not won the league for two decades.
Liverpool are looking to arrest a run of five defeats in eight league games that has seen them slump to just four points off the drop zone.
"We have to be up for it to make sure we don't come away from Blackpool with the same result we had at Anfield - a defeat," admitted Dalglish.
The Reds boss also stressed everyone will be treated the same, which means Fernando Torres will not get any special attention as they try to get their star striker scoring again.
The Spain international has scored just six times in 22 matches and only once in his last eight games this season.
"This club has never been about one individual, it has been about a collection and a team and we are a team."
