Wolfsburg's managing director Dieter Hoeness is refusing to expand on rumours the club are in discussions to sell Edin Dzeko to Manchester City.
Front News understand City are in 'advanced talks' to bring in Dzeko when the January transfer window opens for business.
Dzeko has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in Europe over recent seasons and City are hoping to win the chase for the Bosnian.
Reports in Germany claim that City are ready to pay €30million (£25.6m) immediately for Dzeko and a further €5m (£4.3m) if the club qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
However, Hoeness declined to confirm that negotiations are ongoing and stressed the 24-year-old remains under contract to Wolfsburg.
