Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits Cesc Fabregas' persistent injuries have left him mentally fragile.
The Gunners captain, who is set to start for the first time in 31 days in Monday night's clash at home to Chelsea, has fallen victim to no less than eight injuries in the last year.
Fabregas' troublesome hamstring has been at the root of five of those problems, and Wenger admits the constant physical setbacks have affected the Spaniard's mental approach.
Wenger said in The Sun: "Yes, he is sharp again now because he has two more weeks of practice behind him. In the last two or three days he has looked sharp.
"It is more a restriction he has. When he comes on, his hamstring is in his head. So we have to move the hamstring out of his head.
